The Schneider's designed and custom built this "green" home with low maintenance and high energy efficiency in mind.
Situated on about 80 acres overlooking Clinton Reservoir, this home uses ground-source heat and cooling ability to fuel radiant heat and forced air geothermal cooling throughout. The angled vaulted ceiling takes advantage of solar heating and natural lighting and lends to the open, spacious feel of the combined living, dining, and kitchen areas.
The outdoor living spaces are spacious and provide low-maintenance care and unobstructed views of the area.
The home's many windows offer spectacular views of the lake and area and feature enclosed blinds that can be closed for privacy or natural light control when needed. Acid-washed concrete floors and bright colors warm the furnished interior and reflect the exterior color-scheme.
A steel, spiral staircase provides access to both levels of this home. Two bedrooms up and two down share "Jack-and-Jill" style baths. Separate vanity/toilet areas flank the shared whirlpool tub/shower (upstairs) or shower (downstairs).
